THE  UNLIMITED  DREAM  MACHINE

The Unlimited Dream Machine is Zara Starr & Conor Madden.

After living and working in Dublin for the past number of years as professional actors & theatre makers
we have moved back to our native Clare and based our theatre company, The UDM, here.

We make high quality, professional theatre in Clare.

We devise our own work and, along with theatre, we also investigate spaces, places and local history.

We wish to continue this style of work in Clare and engage with local communities and their histories.

Our production ‘Broke’, written by Conor Madden, was performed on the Peacock stage of the Abbey Theatre.

Our community production 'State' was performed in Clarecastle as part of the 1916 commemoration.

We also run workshops for all ages with The Unlimited Dream Machine School of Theatre.

Zara Starr recently received a bursary in Arts Participation by the Arts Council of Ireland in which she undertook a residency in Cultúrlann Sweeney, Kilkee, funded by Clare Arts Office.

Conor Madden recently received a bursary from Belltable:Connect Limerick.
